Guess 1981 Cologne by Guess, Guess 1981 is a woody, smoky cologne that was released in 2017 . Notes of bergamot and violet leaf create a fresh, light opening to the blend. Middle notes of cedar, oakmoss and ambergris contrast the refreshing top notes and give the blend its woody quality. Finally, notes of olibanum and leather at the base of the cologne complement the top notes while also further adding to the smoky quality of the fragrance. The long-lasting nature of this cologne makes it the perfect choice for nighttime wear. Guess was founded in the late 1970s by several brothers who took interest in fashion trends. The American fashion company got its start selling designer jeans, inspired by the looks the founders saw in California at the time.
